Waiting....

Tom Petty was really not kidding.....
And so, week 4 begins and I look a lot different then when this little process started. For one, my massive calf( read skinny climber leg) has shrunken to a very small chicken like leg. And my over all body feels different as well. Because Im not climbing since I still can't weight bare on my leg, my fingers and joints actually feel great from not being strained and pulled on all the time. Im doing some workouts on a hang board( key word board) to entertain myself, but its slim pickins for sure. Cyn says she is actually feeling sorry for me since Im not able to do anything, but I am spending alot of time around the house. Maybe thats driving the kids crazy, but IM having fun, and I think its fun to turn the tables. This week I have to travel to Montana for a shoot and trying to figure out the logistics with a cast on and a fake leg are for sure interesting?! But just when I was really tired of waiting, God stepped in and spoke t me again about how silly I can be. IN church yesterday, our pastor spoke about the trouble we have waiting and that God's timing is just that, His timing. He also pointed out that Moses waited 80 years for something to happen. 80 years, thats insane, or thats how I would be if I was to wait that long. It gave me great perspective, and I'd love to say I just smile now and wait, I don't, but it does help me to see that this is yet another temporary set back and it will have an ending soon, where I get back up and do my thing. So yes, waiting is indeed the hardest part, but the waiting also has an end, which is the BEST part. Take care, Peace. c
